Michael Darby is one of AustraliaŹ¼s most accomplished performance poets. A compere, scriptwriter, Chinese linguist, Shakespearean actor and poet, Michael Darby has been performing bush poetry for many years.
In Greatest Australian Poems, Michael Darby will present the works of favourite bush poets including Henry Lawson, Banjo Patterson and CJ Dennis. Michael will explain the background and attractions of each poem and the book will contain a CD with Michael performing a selection of the poems he has collected. Barrallier Books is now planning to publish Greatest Australian Poems.
